The Challenge
Net Zero Atlantic is a team working to advance a sustainable and inclusive transition to a carbon-neutral Atlantic Canada.
With a recent rebrand, they needed an energy system model graphic to help in the presentation of their ideas.
The previous graphic predominantly featured non-renewable resources. Net Zero wanted to see a representation of the renewable energy sources present in Atlantic Canada.
The Solution
Created graphics that depict renewable energy sources in Atlantic Canada. When creating the images I utilized connections between energy sources and recognizable landmarks, to further increase the recognizability.
Images were created as vectors, to allow for a wide range of executions. The final image was delivered as a whole and broken up into components, to allow the client to use pieces across their presentations.
This image has accompanied Net Zero to conferences across Atlantic Canada, as well as becoming a key visual component across their social media platforms.
